“The initial inspiration for our piece in Tales in Glass came from the idea of ‘Cauce,’ the Spanish word for a channel, particularly a riverbed. We were drawn to the quiet yet powerful way water is guided by its surrounding environment: the subtle shaping of the terrain beneath it and the natural edges that direct its flow without resistance. We wanted to translate this relationship into a sculptural object, in which form is defined both by movement and by containment. The piece reflects the path of water as it makes its way through the landscape—a soft, continuous gesture, welcomed and held by its boundaries”.

ABOUT CAUCE

Coffee table with 6mm fused glass top lacquered in amethyst color. Also available with 6mm extralight fused and hand etched glass top. Structure covered by aluminium leaf “Saturno Siderale” applied by hand with an exclusive treatment. Base plate in matt black lacquered metal.
