Purpose of the Role:
The role will support the Purchasing Manager in the operational management of the procurement process, handling purchasing planning activities (materials and subcontracting) in line with the company’s supply chain requirements, while maintaining smooth and effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role will support the Purchasing Manager in the operational management of the procurement process, handling purchasing planning activities (materials and subcontracting) in line with the company’s supply chain requirements, while maintaining smooth and effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and release of purchase orders (direct materials and subcontracting) through the ERP system;
- Maintenance and updating of purchase orders in the ERP system, generated from MRP analysis;
- Sizing and updating of procurement parameters in the master data (minimum stock levels, economic order quantities, minimum order quantities, lead times);
- Follow-up with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery dates, based on received priorities and dates agreed with the supplier;
- Updating reports on activities and delivery performance;
- Collaboration with Production and Logistics to ensure the proper flow of materials and information;
- Reporting issues and collaborating with the responsible Buyer to resolve supply or quality problems.
- Technical-commercial diploma or a short-cycle degree in Economics/Management;
- Good knowledge of Excel and basic IT tools;
- Experience (even short) in purchasing or logistics within structured companies is preferred.
- Accuracy and reliability in data management;
- Clear and professional communication with suppliers and internal colleagues;
- Team spirit and a strong orientation toward operational support;
- Proactivity in reporting anomalies or delays;
- Attention to meeting deadlines and following procedures.
Junior Purchasing Clerk
Gallotti&Radice, a leading company in the design furniture sector and a symbol of Italian artisanal excellence, is looking for a Junior Purchasing Clerk to join its team at the Cermenate headquarters.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Entry and updating of purchase orders in the SMEUP management system.
- Updating and maintenance of purchase price lists in collaboration with senior contacts.
- Timely sending of orders to suppliers, both for materials/components and for subcontracted work.
- Following up with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met, based on the priorities received.
- Collaboration with the warehouse and transport office for the issuance and transmission of shipping documents.
- Reporting any issues related to suppliers (lead times, minimum batch sizes, price changes, etc.) to the Purchasing Manager.
Requirements:
- Technical-commercial diploma or a short degree in economics/management.
- Good knowledge of Excel and basic IT tools.
- Preferably some experience, even brief, in purchasing or logistics within structured corporate environments.
- Accuracy and reliability in data management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers and colleagues.
- Collaborative spirit and orientation towards operational support.
- Proactiveness in reporting anomalies or delays.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and following company procedures.
