Marco Boga

Marco Maria Boga studied Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, where he graduated in 1989. Until 1998, he served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Conservation and Protection of Architectural Heritage. He began his design research in his father’s studio, which specialised in furniture design and interior decoration. From 1987 to 1993, he worked professionally as part of the BBCC Architettura studio. In 1994, he founded Bstudio together with architect Lucia Boga, initiating a design path focused on the dialogue between architecture and design. In 2023, with the entry of architect Lorenzo Maria Benzoni as partner, the studio evolved into BGA Architetti: a new identity that consolidates and renews the experience gained over the years, maintaining design continuity while expanding both vision and scope of activity.Throughout his career, he has collaborated with companies such as T70, Halifax, Casamilano, Gruppo Industriale Busnelli, Cinova, Longhi, Axil, Riva 1920, and Ipea. Since the 1990s, he has developed public and private architectural projects — including schools, offices, residences, and industrial spaces — alongside participation in architectural competitions in association with other professionals. His design research is expressed through an essential and measured language, where the dialogue between contemporaneity and memory results in solutions of rigorous formal and functional quality.
