70 years of love for glass @ DesignBlok with Stopka
Gallotti&Radice, in collaboration with STOPKA, took part in Designblok 2026 with Glass Vision, a site-specific installation conceived by the renowned Czech designer Lucie Koldová, who interpreted glass through a distinctive vision where design and materiality intertwined. Glass Vision celebrated glass as a universal language: a perfect aesthetic synthesis capable of dissolving every boundary between container and content. At center stage, the scenographic installation featuring 79 Tratto lamps by Draga & Aurel illuminates and grazes the Adam table by Luigi Massoni — an iconic historical piece of timeless appeal, part of the collection since 1971 — alongside new furnishings crafted from recycled glass powder BonBon Glass, including the Half-Pipe seating by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, and the Garçon side tables by Studiopepe. The result is an immersive, evocative experience that weaves together light, form, and matter under the banner of the timeless allure of glass.
Held from October 7 to 11, 2026, at the Trade Fair Palace of the National Gallery Prague, the project celebrated the deep bond between Gallotti&Radice and glass.
The collaboration took place at a particularly significant moment for the company, which in 2026 celebrated 70 years of history. Founded in 1956, the brand has made glass one of the defining elements of its identity, combining refined craftsmanship, technological research, and a poetic, unmistakable approach to the material. The bond between Stopka, Lucie Koldová, and Gallotti&Radice is rooted in a shared appreciation for craftsmanship placed at the service of a fluid, artistic approach to design. The designer was particularly inspired by the brand’s avant-garde vision and the values that have guided its history to this day. From this harmony of intent emerged a striking glass tile wall: a tribute to the fluidity and transparency of the material, as well as the symbol of an exceptional partnership uniting creative vision, artisanal expertise, and a passion for design.
