Craftsmanship and Innovation: A Timeless Dialogue
Gallotti&Radice, in collaboration with Stanzo Italia, presented "Sense of Materials", a workshop dedicated to professionals, designed to offer an exclusive opportunity to closely observe and appreciate the finishes that define the brand's stylistic signature. A formative experience that allowed industry professionals to earn continuing education credits, contribuiting to the enhacement and development of professional skills, especially in the artisanal processing of glass.
Held on 23 and 24 January 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, the event was an interactive journey through material discovery that highlighted the company's long-standing tradition of research and experimentation.
A tribute to artisanal excellence where glass, stones, wood and metals became the storytellers of an ancient tradition. The narrative unfolded through the evolution of design in a multimedia visual journey that revealed the behind-the-scenes of production processes. The concept was structured into eight chapters, honoring the brand's historical heritage - particulary the Giunto collection fetauring T35 coffee table designed by Pierangelo Gallotti in 1975 - and innovation, expressed through a dialogue between a voice from the past and a contemporary one, capable of preserving memory while looking toward the future. At the center of this story was a material infinitely recyclable, always contemporary, and in constant evolution: glass. The undisputed protagonist that stands the test of time without losing its essence, capable of infinite trasformation while mantaining transparency, light and depth. Visitators were invited to explore the installation enchated by the celebration of tradition in "A legacy in motion" (T35), the metallic shimmer of copper, aluminium and gold leaf applied to glass (Sensei), the vibrant color of crystal spheres (Bolle), sustainability expressed through the infinite cycle of glass reuse creating a new material (Re-verre), lacquering and brushing to create innovative decorations (President), textures derived from reuse of natural stones (Molecola e Selce-T), wood modeling (0414) and the softness of cotton (Pleiadi).
Guests had the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world of Gallotti&Radice, exploring up close the latest creations and experiencing firsthand the finishes that make each piece unique. They were then invited to take an active role through mirror engraving - a refined and emotional journey into the discovery of the brand's origins.
A narrative trough history and materials where the artisan's invisible work and the expressive power of craft elements took shape, emerging as the true protagonist. A special thanks to Stanzo Italia for allowing us to participate in this important initiative, giving us the possibility to celebrate and promote Italian creativity and timeless design.
