DIARIO – Layers of Memory

GallottiRadice_Saki Elite_H2O_President_150RGB(5)

A home office that interprets the contemporary home as an intimate, layered space, where memory and design merge into a sophisticated language open to reflection. The Diario fabric, used to upholster the Saki Elite armchairs designed by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti — developed from the chair of the same name and distinguished by their three-legged structure — becomes a surface rich in visual suggestions: architectural forms, landscape glimpses, and organic elements engage in dialogue, evoking the brand’s heritage, its connection to Lake Como, and the company’s identity roots.Representations of iconic products are concealed within a landscape suspended between reality and imagination, emerging as discreet presences within an immersive and visionary scene. Diario takes shape as a narrative that celebrates the history of the brand through rarefied, almost fairy-tale-like atmospheres, like an enchanted forest where nature and design merge into a poetic and imaginative universe.

The President Senior desk, originally introduced in 1971 and never discontinued, brings an authentic heritage element into the space, becoming the focal point of the project. Through its new bronze crystal finish and stainless-steel metal details, it establishes a harmonious dialogue between past and present. Completing the setting, the H2O upholstered armchair by Studiopepe, covered in soft leather in a blush nude tone, introduces a contemporary tactile and sensory note. In dialogue with the environment, the Mirta wall lamps by Giorgio Reggiori — authentic pieces from the 1960s — add a further layer of memory and nostalgia, deepening the atmosphere of the scene. An interior project that expresses a refined continuity between material, history, and contemporary vision, ideal for a home office conceived as a conceptual space and a place for thought, writing, and imagination.
